À propos de Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 449 - 2019

Our Jeanneau is responsive, agile and fast. Performance encompasses speed and exceptional handling under power, smooth passage through heavy seas, confidence and control. Every experience onboard a Jeanneau is enhanced by well-balanced sail plans, modern hulls and quality deck hardware. *** Why is the North Sea so exciting? *** If you rent a boat from the Belgian coast for a certain period of time, you go there by car but do not go sailing in

*** If you rent a boat from the Belgian coast for a certain period of time, you go there by car but do not go sailing in this area for the entire duration of the rental. This is what makes it unique: it is surrounded by neighbouring countries with surprising and interesting coasts. It is therefore the ideal starting point to go in search of the neighbouring coasts. *** Where is the best to sail? *** You can reach the ENGLISH COASTS towards Dover. 20 miles to the east you visit Ramsgate, typical British. You sail north to Harwich, where the River Orwell leads you to Ipswich along romantic green hills. You can also go down to the FRENCH COASTS. You can visit "Les Iles Glénans" : Small islands with unspoilt nature. The inland sea of Vannes slumbers across the way to "Belle Ile". 1 **** the English Channel - English Coast The cruise starts in Nieuwpoort. Ideal for 5 or 7 days. You go to Dunkirk, waving along the sandbanks through the Zuydcoote pass. Then you head for Dover by Traffic Lane. For lovers of military history, Château de Douvres is worth a visit. Then you go to Ramsgate with its charming houses that look like'Coronation Street'. A visit to a real English pub is a must, just to rinse your throat a little after so much salt water. Then comes Harwich, a little further north where the Orwell River gives a touch of romanticism to Ipswich. The shrimp tasting at Butt and Oyster's Butt and Oyster in Pin Mill and a night walk in the woods that adorn the river are unforgettable. Weather and climate The climate on the North Sea coast is well known. Note that it rarely rains at sea. The wind and sea are changing but generally relatively calm from May to October. 2 ****Zeeland The cruise starts in Zeebrugge. You sail through the Walcheren Canal to the Veerse Meer via Vlissingen. After a few hours of exercise on the Veerse meer you will be able to tack properly. The cruise continues towards the Eastern Scheldt then Zierikzee or Bruinisse, while passing several locks and under the Zeeland Bridge, to finish by returning along the Domburg coast towards Breskens and Zeebrugge. 3 ****Wight - The Solent The cruise starts in Nieuwpoort. Ideal for 7 or 9 days. Crossing to Dover. The Château de Douvres is worth a visit. You're heading for Brighton. The Solent is a natural channel between the country and the Isle of Wight. You spend the night in the typical port of Yarmouth. Don't forget to visit the historic fort that protected the entrance to the Solent from French invasion. To the east of Wight is the lovely Poole located in the shelter of an inland sea. Seven Sisters A visit to Les Needles, a formation of sharp rocks at the entrance to the Solent, is a must. Zigzagging on the Solent we go to Cowes. Take a stroll along the prestigious districts of the Royal Yacht Squadron. Crossing the Solent to the Haslar Marina in Portmouth. At the Maritime Historical Museum you can admire the "Victory" of Lord Nelson's admiral. Portsmouth is the maritime base of England and the home port of the British Navy. Then comes a long stretch towards Eastbourne and the crossing to Boulogne. 4****London Thames - London The cruise starts in Nieuwpoort. Ideal for 7 or 9 days. Try to reach London as soon as possible with a first stop in Ramsgate. The trick is to be on time the next day, finally to take advantage of the rising tide to head for Sheerness. The many sandbanks in the mouth of the Thames are a delight for those who love the art of sailing. And the highlight is the evening when we arrive, the illuminated Tower Bridge, straight out of a fairy tale. Tower Bridge You enter the port of St. Katarin through the oldest lock in Europe where the surroundings are completely renovated in the Tudor style. Stay about 24 hours in London, enough time to enjoy it and visit Tower Bridge and Covent Garden for a moment of art and humour. On the way back you stop at Queenborough. If time permits, you will pass through the Thames mouth and head for Harwich and Orwell River. We cross the English Channel towards Ostend and then Nieuwpoort. 5****The Channel Islands We recommend Nieuwpoort as your departure port. Ideal for a period of 14 days minimum. Saint-Malo: a city of yesteryear, walk along the ramparts. Saint Helier (Jersey): see Elisabeth Castle where real gunners plunge you into history. Saint Peter Port (Guernsey): visit Cornet Castle. Sark or Alderney: spend the night in the bay with tides up to 12 m apart. Cherbourg: its harbour entrance is impressive. Ouistreham: nice little port along the canal to Caen. This is where D-Day started in 1944. Honfleur: go by the Seine to this picturesque fishing spot. Fécamp: discover how Benedictine liqueur is made. Dieppe: pleasant and warm fishing port. Boulogne: Be careful when you enter the port! 6****Scotland Some people talk about a cruise at sea, others about a cruise on the ocean. A walk along the east coast of Scotland with Edinburg as your destination. You go north through Ramsgate, Harwich, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. Once you have passed The Wash, you can vent up the Humber River to the picturesque Hull. A long cruise north to Newcastle, on the banks of the Tyne River. In Firth of Forth Bay there are many beautiful places to see. In addition to Edinburgh you can also visit Kirkcaldy, Graingemouth and Leith. If the weather permits, you can go a little further north to Dundee on the Tay River. *** Included in the price: electronic card, automatic life jackets, engine hours. And in addition... the navigation and autopilot system on the latest generation of boats, radar system from 37 feet, heating, safety equipment, various equipment for the chef de cuisine.
