The trip did not go as planned. Marco and Luca spoke no English at all so it was impossible to communicate. My request was to take me and my family to Cinque Terre. He sailed the boat to cinque terre for 4 hours (which seemed double the amount of time it should have taken as he was going very slowly) but then tried to explain that in fact we can’t go anywhere near because of visitor restrictions. We had to google translate this. This was the whole point of the trip to go and visit 2 or 3 of the twins and have a walk about. It was very annoying to have been taken all the way there to be told we couldn’t actually go anywhere near the towns, even for a photo. This wasn’t made clear when I initially enquired. I thought we would get back early evening but we got back at 9.20pm, almost a 12 hour trip. It was boiling hot all day, no wind because the boat seemed so slow and the provided drinks weren’t really cold. We were very grateful for the drinks and lunch but had no idea this was provided. The lunch was delicious but maybe you need to let the customers know that this is part of the trip. There were no life jackets provided for adults and no safety talk at all. I was surprised about that.
